35+ Common Service & Maintenance Functions
including, including Key Fob Programming, Oil Reset, EPB, TPS, TPMS, BRT, DPF, SAS, CVT, Odometer, Gear Learning, and Injector Coding.
To list some:
- ABS Service: used for service replacement of brake fluid, or when the brake system or components have been repaired or replaced, to purge the system of air.
- AFR Adaptation: this utility allows for the learned air fuel (AFR) to be re-initialized on VAG and Ford.
- BRT: battery match, reset the vehicle battery monitoring unit to clear original fault information about insufficient battery-electric quality, and match the battery again and monitor.
- Change Tire Size: recalibrate the speedometer after changing the tire size.
- Clutch Adaptation: relearn the clutch engagement points in a dual-clutch transmission.
- CVT: reset adaptive shifts after repair or fluid service, resets the learned values for the changing of tolerances to the transmission.
- Diesel Particulate Filter (DP F) Regeneration: Clear PM (Particulate Matter) from the DP F filter through continuous combustion oxidation mode to stabilize the filter performance.
- EGR Reset: replacement reset to ensure the vehicle recognizes the new component and that it operates correctly.
- (EPB) Brake Pad Replacement: reset the onboard computer after brake pad replacement has been completed to turn off the alarm.
- EVAP/SMOG Test: checks for fuel vapor leaks by performing a pressure or vacuum test on the fuel system.
- Fuel Pressure Test: test if the fuel supply system is running normally.
- G sensor Learn: calibrate and reset the acceleration sensor or ECU after it was replaced. airbag abs esp system will use collected value of the G-sensor.
- Gear Learn: crankshaft gear learn
- Headlamp: adapt headlamp height level, adaptive headlights to be relearnt.
- Immobilizer: IMMO function allows pairing a transponder car key fob to the vehicle
- Injector: write injector actual code or rewrite code in the ECU to the injector code of the corresponding cylinder to control injection quality.
- Language Change: change language displayed in the instrument display.
- Limit: modify the maximum speed value of the vehicle.
- ODS/ OPDS initialization: performs initialization of both SWS and OPDS, executed when weight sensor on driver or passenger seat has a false alarm and needs to re-calibrate.
- Oil Reset: enables a new service cycle.
- Prime Fuel Pump: This allows the pump to run to bleed or prime during a service or repair, and remove air from fuel lines.
- SAS: Steering angle reset to be performed.
- Seat Match: Re-initialization of the power seat adaptive memory. initialize ECU with seat position after DCC fuse removal.
- TCMOIL: used to clear oil degradation and downgrade counter. erase data after oil or transmission replacement and the original transmission control module is still being used.
- (TPMS) Tire Pressure Reset: reset tire pressure and turn off the tire pressure MIL
- (TPS): initialize throttle actuation element so that the ECU learning value is returned to the initial status and more accurately regulates throttle or idle motor operations to control intake air quality.
- Transmission Adaptation: Transmission control module (TCM) relearn changes in transmission tolerances to improve the transmission quality and adjust the transition of the gear shift according to too the driving style. used to clear adaptive values in the TCM.
- Turbo: required if the turbocharger is replaced, this will learn the offset values for the turbine shut-off valve.
- Windows Door: learn window position after replacement of battery or glass. will also enable pinch protection and one touch-up function.
- Odometer: this function allows you to devise an odometer date and write the original date onto a new odometer.
- Oxygen Sensor: the value of the oxygen sensor is collected through different engine operating conditions to determine whether the oxygen sensor is working normally.
- Power Balance: Cylinder cut test to the ignition and disconnection of a single cylinder of the engine, and determine which cylinder is not working well by observing the jitter of the engine.
- Replace airbag ECU module: after airbag replacement, it is necessary to initialize the sensor for the new airbag to re-monitor the working status of the sensor.
- Suspension: when the level sensor, control module, and air pump in the air suspension system are replaced, or the level of the car is wrong, a level calibration is required.
- and more on the CJBT module.
